Before you have to ask

The vetting answers, up front

Every school has a checklist before an external provider is allowed on site. Here is ours, in one place, so you are not chasing it by email.

Legal entity

Mindful Productions, ABN 20 251 508 176. Sole trader, based in Melbourne, touring high schools throughout Victoria.

Not registered for GST

So invoices carry no GST component and are not headed as a tax invoice. The ABN is on every invoice, which is what school procurement needs.

Child safety

Child-safe policies and practices in place, in line with Victorian standards.

Working with Children Check

Held. Details are provided with your booking confirmation.

Public liability

Certificate of currency provided with your booking confirmation.

Who is actually in the building

One person. The show is written and performed solo, and the workshop is run by the same person. There is no cast, no crew and no rotating roster, so the check you run is on one adult and the person you approved is the person who arrives.

Student volunteers come on stage during the workshop. They are your students, supervised in your hall, in front of their own year level and their own teachers.

Anything not answered here

Ask before you book rather than after. If your school needs a document in a particular format, or a specific policy sighted, say so in the enquiry and it comes back with the quote.
